Visiting the Library

A visit to the library gives you access to library’s Canon lenses. You can borrow any available lens and try it out in the real world.

Is the 17-55 2.8 IS EF-S really sharper than the 16-35 2.8 II L?

How does the 24-70 L compare to the 24-105 L?

Is the bokeh of the 85mm 1.2 L Mark 2 really worth the sixfold cost of the 85mm 1.8?

How do you use a tilt-shift lens?

Or maybe you just want to shoot with some big heavy glass: a 100-400 L, a 70-200 IS 2.8 L, or the monster 300 2.8 IS L!

The fee for a two-hour library visit is $100. The advice is free.
