The 70-200 is an extremely sharp zoom with IS unit. Fantastic color. A workhorse lens that can help in most shooting situations, from weddings and sports to portraits and photojournalism.

Focuses quickly – great for action. This lens is a bit heavy and will attract some attention.

A good choice for a first L lens – there’s so much that you can do with it. Pros, and anyone who wants an even sharper 70-200, you pick up the incredible Mark 2 version of this lens (which will sometimes make you think you were shooting the 85mm or 135 L primes!).
